Light + Art = Pure Magic!
I wanted to extend a huge thank you to everyone who attended the "Nocturnal Machines" light painting workshop! It was truly inspiring to see your creativity and enthusiasm come to life as we explored the magic of light in motion. Your energy made the workshop a fantastic experience for Jeff McCrum & I, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Special thanks to the Munroe Center for the Arts.
Jeff and I are still buzzing from our latest light painting workshop, and we just had to share a peek at the magic in action and some of the student work. Awesome stuff!
If you weren't able to snag a spot this time, don't fret! We know how eager many of you are to dive into the world of light painting and night photography. That's why Jeff and I have one last workshop for this year. You won't want to miss it.

For night photographers and light painting enthusiasts, discovering forgotten, patinaed machines is like hitting the jackpot. I recently found the awesome machine, perfectly weathered and begging for a nocturnal glow-up! It is just an old car; it is a diamond in the rough, a time capsule, the fiberglass curves and faded details ideal canvases for light to dance across, revealing hidden textures and deepening its character.
