With exclusive access to the timeless collection of machines set against the night sky provide every photographer with a guaranteed opportunity for an extraordinary creative experience. During the shoot we are at your disposal, our intent is to guide you through several setups of cars and provide practical instruction and inspiration but if you are more experienced we encourage exploration within a limited range of the property due to the size and lack of lighting. We are here for you in whatever capacity you are seeking.

Join us for an exclusive one night workshop where personalized attention and hands-on guidance will empower you to master your equipment and create breathtaking light-painted photographs. Surrounded by the serene beauty of the night sky, you'll refine your photography skills and build a stunning portfolio of night shots. Our unique access to the patinaed machines ensures an array of moonlit subjects perfect for light painting. This one-of-a-kind experience offers ample space for you to explore and express your creativity freely. Don't miss this opportunity to transform your nighttime photography

This is a private residence, so please excuse our reluctance to openly provide detailed information on the location. The owner has asked that we limit the number of vehicles in the driveway which is why we are including transportation and ask that you travel with us. We can say that it is in the area of Manchester, New Hampshire.

Join your hosts Shehab Hossain & Jeff McCrum as we venture into the night to lightpaint and photograph some of the very patinaed machines.

What You'll Learn During Our Event

Whether you're a novice to night photography or a seasoned professional, our comprehensive series of learning modules is designed to elevate your photography skills to new heights

Topics covered will include:

  • Ideal gear - what the pros are using and why.

  • Low ISO long exposures vs high ISO short exposures – when and why?

  • Recording movement of light.

  • Focusing in the dark.

  • Light painting on any budget.

  • Composition: Photographing at any height but eye level.

  • Safety considerations.

  • Relying on your talent, not your computer: Create “organic” photos using your eyes as your guide, not based on post production expectations.

  • White Balance; capturing the silvery light of the moon, and squashing streetlights.

Have fun! I don’t like boring lectures, and you probably don’t either.  This workshop is designed to give you insight and tips that will help you develop your own "after dark" style.  And more!

In The Field

Whether you need extra guidance or prefer a more independent approach, we'll be there for you in the field whenever you need us. We're not there to take our own shots; instead, we'll photograph for demonstration and educational purposes. This event is all about you and your growth—your time, your journey.

Camera, tripod, intervalometer, a headlamp, bugspray, water and snacks.
