Hosting an international workshop in Venice, Italy was an audacious dream come true. Jeff McCrum and I were thrilled to share this magical city with our students.

Ciao, it’s Venice!

What an amazing Venice workshop! Jeff McCrum brought his technical night photography expertise and I brought some of my special light painting magic. Together we shared our knowledge and love for the city with our students.

And paint and learn we did, orbs, rainbow stripes, light trails, panoramas, little planets, reflective crystal balls, light wands, Hollywood film locations, vaporettos, a private tour with low-level challenges in a 1,000 year old church, all in one of the world's most beautiful and historic cities.

Remarkably, we were still able to allow time for everyone to discover and explore the Venice they wanted to see in just five days. In their free time people took cooking classes, visited wineries and museums, got lost and found in the streets (the best way to see the city), took gondolas, and saw it from high to low.

Here are some photos from the recent Venice workshop, it was a delight seeing students learn to work their own lighting magic!

Big thanks to everyone who joined our Night Photography & Light Painting workshop in Venice, Italy! Their energy and creativity made it an unforgettable experience. Hope you can join us next time, we promise it'll be an astonishing experience with plenty to learn. Stay tuned for more exciting learning opportunities ahead!

Be well. Keep having fun. As always, love hearing from you all.

Ciao ciao,
Shehab
